Almost of half (43%) of Americans said they very or extremely satisfied with their experience surfing the Web via their mobile devices. An equal amount had no opinion and the remainder hated it. These were among the findings from Going Mobile: An International Study of Content Use and Advertising on the Mobile Web. For the full 37-page report click here. The Online Publishers Association and TNS conducted the study which found that 71% of Americans have the mobile Web although only 41% actually use it. The biggest complaint was load time for Web pages followed by page layout and poor navigation. On the advertising front, 22% of Americans said they like free mobile, snackable content. Eighteen percent said they watch mobile ads in exchange for free content. A quarter of respondents were willing to sign up to receive alerts and only 8% were into entering mobile contests.
