In case you missed the first installment, here's the breakdown: I owned an iPod Mini which constantly had battery issues. I mulled replacing it with a Zune but went for the 30 gig video iPod instead. I immediately had problems with it and brought it back four weeks later (mere days past my opportunity to return it at RadioShack). They sent it away for three weeks and I received a "new" one.
Part 2 of the saga is the fact that a week after receiving my "new" iPod, I am having the exact same problem: it will not allow me to turn it off. So let me reiterate my original statement that I will never buy an iPhone. And, oh yeah, I was considering buying an Apple laptop before all this. No way that's happening now.
I suppose with your new anti-anything-Apple, the new iRack is out of the question. At least with this one, you won't have to worry about any battery issues; however, the functionality is a bit unstable and unpredictable. But you can make your own decision - check it out here:
